Grandma has been knitting ...

Snuggly winter goodness! Just perfect for a chilly Invercargill morning! We had a good trip (580kms yesterday) and arrived safely. There was a 7.8 Earthquake last night not centred not far from where we are. It was huge! Went on for 2 1/2 minutes, we even took the children outside. The whole house was creaking. Amazing! Few aftershocks today just to keep us on our toes!!

  3. First of all, that sweater and mitts set is absolutely adorable! I hope to get to that advanced staged of knitting some day. I just made a neckwarmer in those exact colors this past weekend! haha

Second...An earthquake! You talk about it so nonchalantly! That is insane. I have never been through one. Living in central U.S. we are most prone to tornadoes and floods, neither of which I have ever experienced either. I'm glad for that. It can stay that way!
