What do you do if you live on an Island where you can't get any more than one fat quarter of a special fabric?
You cut very very carefully into 12 squares and make a log cabin type quilt. It's not huge, but big enough for a 7 year old to snuggle under. This is one that I was going to do for his birthday in, um February!
It is absolutely PERFECT! I think so anyway! Your colors go very well together and you did a great job making the best of a little bit!
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome, Deb! What an incredible way to STRETCH that fabric into a whole quilt! I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it. you did a great job on making that adorable fabric work.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to get the most out of a single fat quarter!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on making it stretch!
ReplyDeleteDo you need any more of it? I have a 10x22 piece I could send you.
Very nice...sometimes I wish I lived on an island. I'm assuming the idea itself is more romantic than the actual living on an island, though.
ReplyDeleteActually, living on an Island is pretty cool - only three hours from one side to the other...and there's the 'four seasons in one day'...
ReplyDeleteThat's three hours in a car...it's like 10 min on a plane...
