I sewed a bunch of sunshine just in time for a grey day...

It literally is raining here, so Chrissy and I ran outside and quickly snapped a couple of pictures.
I really love this quilt. It's vibrant and sunshiney and we'll use it to snuggle in the winter. I actually think I will get some fleece for the backing to make it even more cosy! I didn't know I had so much yellow in my stash!

  2. i see some of my favorite fabrics in there....namely the alexander henry birdseed. love that. this looks amazing. i think yellow is one of the colors i don't have much of at all in my stash. Fleece sounds like such a great idea...how will you quilt it? Doesn't that eliminate the need for batting? i can not wait to see what you do. I love how you work in such amazing bright colors.

  5. Super pretty and sunny! It was raining here this week too, and cold, unheard of in April in Southern California! So I envy your pretty quilt this week :)
