What shape is love...

Yesterday the news came close to home.
The School that our eldest children go to is in mourning.

I spent the morning at school.
Baking cookies.
Making Soup.
I took a project to do and after a while I sat quietly doing it.
People came and sat beside me.
And talked and listened
We all cried.
And talked about Hope.
This is community.
We loved each other today.
Then I came home to hug my kids.
This is love... doing life together.
I hope you get to hug someone you love today.

  2. Oh Deb, I am so sorry for you and for your community. I can barely see the keyboard for the tears I am crying for that mother and her kids, it is so easy to put yourself in her place, so easy to relate to. Lots of love. X

  11. This is so awful, and it gave me a shiver when I saw the story and thought of the poor family. The comfort of a supportive community in the background wil make a difference to them.
