It must be time to become friends of St Johns

Yesterday we had another trip in a St Johns Ambulance with Annie.

She had a febrile convulsion which was so so scary. I thought she was going to die before my eyes, she kept on seizing and was turning blue. Thank God she is ok. Her temp was 38.8 which is not super high but high enough for her :(

I'm off to cuddle my baby today!

  4. We have become friends of St. Johns too. It's so scary though, isn't it? We've had a few trips into hospital with one of ours (seizures too), and I just love the staff in there - we are so blessed here in Chch to have such a good children's department.
I hope all is well now and that she is better.

  6. Oh how absolutely terrifying, Deb. I'm so glad she is okay. That poor little pup spends so much time sick. Maybe she's getting it all out of the way now and will hit her lifetime quota soon. Give her a little hug from me. And one for you, too. You probably need one as much (if not more...)

  18. We are friends too and it costs us $45 for the whole family for the year. Just the peace of mind that if we need help at anytime we will not get stuck with a $70 bill each time is an awesome feeling.
Hope she is feeling better now and that you have had the stiff drink you need to calm your nerves.

  20. Hi Deb, We have had scary days like this too so I am glad your Annie Rose is better. It is terrible as mothers, to look at our little sick ones & feel so helpless. Warm wishes from Tokyo!
