Earthquake Repairs Day is here!!!

The packing is almost over.

The cats have gone to the Cattery
and the dogs are Very Worried Indeed!

We have sorted all the things we need for the next eight weeks
and all the rest is going in the truck at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning.

We've washed and sorted and packed
and washed and sorted and packed,
and then thrown random S*** in boxes because we stopped caring.

All the pictures are off the wall
and it's bare as bare can be!

All I want to do is crawl into bed!
We are almost done.

  2. Oh i trust that all goes well with you. I am guessing you will have exams in amongst all this too. My bathroom starts tomorrow!! I have just finished clearing it out and scraping vinyl and carpet out of the hall and bedroom so all the floor cracks are exposed to be fixed.

  3. All I can say is that all the hard work and struggle and relocating and stress was worth it for us and I hope it will be for you too. Its not over, it may not run as smoothly as you want it to, but if you get back to a home, with fresh paint and repairs all done, it will blur the current pain.
Enjoy the change of scene :)

  7. I hope it all goes well. And I know about the "I'm all organised, I've been packing for a while, I have everything under control - OMG! Where did all of this stuff come from? I've had enough of this lark, I'll just shove it in a box and move it..."

  8. I hope it all goes as planned and you get to be in your own house for Christmas. Then you can start a New Year without the worries of being out-of-pocket, so to speak, for a while. Blessings to you and yours.
    I really enjoy your blog.
