Recently the famous Quilt Dad (aka John) had a massive giveaway for his blog anniversary. I offered one of the fat pin cushions I made for the pincushion swap. While I was making the one for Kate I learned how to do crocheted edging, so I decided to incorporate that.
Somehow the colours of the amazing autumn we are having have crept into this pincushion.
The pink of the very last of the autumn roses.
The aqua sky and the rusty leaves.
I used a very very old piece of floral cotton and a couple of old doilleys.
I'm absolutely thrilled with it and I hope it's new owner loves it as much as I do.
